Dr. Derrick "Pete" Yoder is a native of Washington, the son of Dwight and Bev Yoder. He is a 2000 graduate of Washington High School, received his undergraduate training at the University of Southern Indiana, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees at Logan University in St. Louis.
Dr. Yoder completed internships at Logan Health Centers in Webster Groves, Missouri and at St. Patrick's in downtown St. Louis, where he served as Assistant to the Clinic Director, overseeing chiropractic care of the homeless by other interns.
Dr. Yoder's wife is the former Beth Herbertz, also of Washington, the daughter of Chris and Kim Herbertz. She is a 2002 graduate of Washington High School, received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern Indiana, and her Master's degree in Social Studies at the University of Missouri in St. Louis. She teaches American History, Psychology and Sociology at Lincoln High School in Vincennes. The Yoders reside here in Washington with their son Theo, their daughter Dalila, and their three dogs, Lucy, Reba, and Otis.
